Before  recarburizer is completely dissolved, the stirring time is long and the absorption rate is high. Stirring is beneficial to the dissolution and diffusion of carbon,  reducing  recarburizer floating on the surface to be burned.

Stirring can also reduce carbonation  heat preservation, shorten production cycle and avoid burning alloying elements in molten iron. However, if stirring time is too long, which not only has a great influence on the furnance service life, but also causes  carbon loss after the recarburizer is dissolved. Therefore, a suitable stirring time of  molten iron  to ensure complete dissolution of recarburizing agent is important .
